The Tone:

This position is vital for managing the core operational processes related to the company’s portfolio, supporting the Investment Management Resource Team. The role contributes directly to achieving individual, team, and company objectives by enhancing systems and procedures.

• Mission: Manage critical processes related to the asset management of the company’s portfolio and support the Investment Management Resource Team’s operational efficiency.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Coordinate Financial Processes: Coordinate and assist the team in managing the quarterly and monthly financial processes, including calendar management, collection, review, and organization of financial information.
• Manage Compliance Procedures: Coordinate and assist the team in managing lower-tier compliance processes such as the collection and tracking of Tenant files, the Annual Owners Process (AOC), State File, and Physical Inspections.
• Support Tax & Audit Operations: Participate in the Tax & Audit Steering Group (TSSG) to assist the team in managing the preparation and implementation of Tax & Audit Season processes, system enhancements, and delivery schedules.
• Enhance Systems and Procedures: Develop, enhance, and implement various systems used by the IM-Resource Team, including revising or enhancing tax and financial systems and the web portal annually.
• Facilitate Communication and Projects: Organize periodic mailings to accountants, general partners, and management companies, while assisting with client information collection, invoice processing, and various special projects.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Bachelor’s degree in business is preferred.
• Experience: 1 year experience or less.
• Skills: Strong organizational skills, multi-tasking skills, strong computer skills specifically with MS Office, excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
• Bonus: Ability to manage conflicting priorities, capacity to thrive in a collaborative, team-based environment, and capability to take initiative in identifying and resolving inefficiencies and issues.
