Internship Overview: Operations & Community Outreach

This is a unique, unpaid, college-credit eligible internship tailored for students eager to gain meaningful responsibility and hands-on real startup experience – moving far beyond a traditional task-based internship.

• Duration: 3 months
• Time Commitment: 25–30 hours per week
• Location: Fully Remote. Hybrid preferred for candidates based in the Sarasota, Tampa Bay, or Fort Myers areas.

What You’ll Work On

You will play an integral, end-to-end role in driving DentalScan’s growth and expanding its reach within communities:

• Pipeline Management: Actively manage the investor and partner pipeline, meticulously tracking all follow-ups and communications.
• Data & CRM: Support comprehensive lead research, efficient data organization, and robust CRM management.
• Multi-Channel Outreach: Coordinate strategic outreach initiatives across LinkedIn, email, text, and calls.
• Relationship Building: Assist in fostering crucial relationships with investors, nonprofits, schools, and charities.
• Team Coordination: Help coordinate the efforts of a small outreach and data team, ensuring synergy.
• Program Momentum: Be key in maintaining momentum across our outreach, development, and community programs.

You will gain invaluable firsthand experience observing how dedicated outreach translates directly into secured funding, impactful partnerships, and real-world programs that provide essential dental care access to families and children.
