Operating Executive – US | Evergreen

This is a full-time role for future leadership opportunities at Evergreen, a holding company located in the United States, with an emphasis on flexibility for relocation across various regions. Evergreen acquires and operates B2B services companies across North America, focusing on sectors like Managed IT Services, Cybersecurity, ERP Software Partners, and Government Services, aiming to be a long-term home for businesses. This role is crucial for driving organic EBITDA growth and recurring revenue within newly acquired businesses, as Operating Executives are expected to provide strategic leadership and inspire high levels of performance and employee engagement. The company prioritizes a people-first mission, marrying capital allocation with inspired operations to foster sustainable growth.

• Mission: This person owns driving organic EBITDA growth and recurring revenue at an operating company through active management and strategic leadership.
What You’ll Actually Do
• P&L Ownership: Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve financial targets, including year-over-year monthly recurring revenue and annual EBITDA growth.
• Sales And Business Development: Drive revenue growth through effective sales strategies, market analysis, and client relationship management, focusing on new logo acquisition.
• People Management And Leadership: Lead a high-performing, results-oriented team by recruiting, training, developing, and inspiring team members to cultivate a healthy team dynamic.
• Operational Excellence: Streamline and optimize operational processes and procedures to enhance efficiency, ensure compliance, and maintain a focus on quality control.
• Data-Driven Decision Making: Use a data-driven approach to prioritize growth efforts, understand key growth levers, and make effective ROI resource-based decisions.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree, with a career level focused on general management or senior leadership within SMBs, specifically within acquired operating companies.
• Experience: Track record of achieving revenue generation targets on a limited budget, with a specific focus on new logo revenue. Strong background in people management, including hiring, firing, training, and development. Demonstrated expertise in financial management, budgeting, and P&L responsibility.
• Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills. Strong problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset. Proficiency in utilizing technology and data-driven decision-making. Exceptional leadership and team-building capabilities. Resourceful and scrappy, willing to tackle large strategic challenges and day-to-day crises.
• Bonus: MBA or equivalent. Proven experience in an SMB general management or senior leadership role. Experience in an MSP or SaaS business.
