This role is essential for delivering customized, one-on-one instruction to students nationwide, helping them achieve academic success and competitive scores on the TEAS exam for nursing program admission.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Instruct: Provide personalized one-on-one online tutoring across all TEAS test sections, including Reading, Mathematics, Science, and English and Language Usage.
• Strategize: Teach essential test-taking and problem-solving strategies, such as reading passage analysis, multi-step math problem-solving, and grammar rule application specific to TEAS.
• Guide: Lead students through interpreting scientific data, converting measurement units, solving algebraic equations, analyzing sentence structure, and managing time across all four test sections.
• Adapt: Customize instruction based on individual student needs and common challenges, utilizing ATI official TEAS practice materials and diagnostic assessments.
• Support: Leverage the AI-powered Tutor Copilot to enhance sessions with real-time instructional support, lesson generation, and engagement features, saving prep time.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Possess deep knowledge across all TEAS test sections and effectively explain TEAS scoring mechanisms and nursing program admission requirements.
• Experience: Skilled at teaching essential strategic test-taking and problem-solving, including familiarity with TEAS content and common student challenges like anatomy gaps or algebraic word problems.
• Skills: Excellent communication skills combined with a friendly and engaging teaching style, strong adaptability to diverse learning styles, and ability to identify and explain concepts using multiple approaches.
• Bonus: Ability to emphasize targeting science and math sections, where most nursing program applicants often seek improvement.
