What You’ll Actually Do
• Instruct Students: Provide personalized, individual instruction on effective study techniques, time management, goal setting, test preparation, and organizational systems.
• Develop Skills: Guide students in building self-directed learning skills, creating study schedules, taking effective notes, and organizing physical and digital materials.
• Implement Strategies: Apply habit-building frameworks and academic coaching approaches to help students develop sustainable academic routines and self-regulated learning practices.
• Adapt Teaching: Identify common student struggles and adapt instruction using multiple approaches to meet individual learning needs and styles.
• Facilitate Learning: Deliver 1-on-1 online tutoring and accept on-demand instant tutoring requests using the Live Learning Platform.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Deep knowledge of effective study techniques, including spaced repetition, active recall, note-taking methods, time management strategies, and academic planning.
• Experience: Skilled in teaching study habit development, implementing effective organizational systems, and explaining evidence-based study methods from middle school through college levels.
• Skills:
• Advanced subject mastery in various study techniques, principles of learning science, and fostering metacognitive awareness.
• Conceptual teaching and problem-solving abilities to guide students through academic planning and organizational strategies.
