What You’ll Actually Do
• Instruct: Provide personalized, one-on-one online tutoring to students, covering core physical science concepts including mechanics, energy, waves, electricity, magnetism, atomic structure, and chemical reactions.
• Explain: Clearly articulate complex scientific principles such as Newton’s laws, energy transformations, wave properties, and fundamental chemical bonding.
• Prepare: Guide students through problem-solving in areas like force and motion, energy conversion calculations, and basic chemical equation balancing to ready them for high school courses and standardized assessments.
• Adapt: Customize teaching methods using visual simulations, laboratory demonstrations, and scaffolded problem sets to address individual learning styles and common student challenges.
• Engage: Foster scientific inquiry skills and conceptual understanding by connecting physical science topics to technology, engineering applications, and everyday phenomena.
