What You’ll Actually Do
• Provide personalized, in-depth 1-on-1 online guitar instruction to individual students.
• Accept on-demand tutoring requests to offer immediate support through Instant Tutoring.
• Guide students through progressive guitar technique, smooth chord transitions, and musical expression.
• Adapt instruction using method books, popular song arrangements, and technique exercises tailored to student goals.
• Prepare students for performance, auditions, and music coursework across various guitar styles.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Deep knowledge of guitar technique, including fretting, strumming, fingerpicking, chord voicings, scales, and music theory. Proficiency in reading tablature and standard notation, with an extensive repertoire across acoustic, electric, classical, and popular styles.
• Experience: Skilled at teaching progressive guitar technique and connecting instruction to musical goals, songwriting, and ensemble performance. Capable of supporting learners from absolute beginners through advanced players in diverse guitar styles.
• Skills: Ability to explain complex concepts such as barre chords, pentatonic and modal scales, and rhythm patterns using multiple approaches. Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style, highly adaptable to individual learning needs.
