    • Deep knowledge of guitar technique, including fretting, strumming, fingerpicking, chord voicings, scales, and music theory for guitar.

  • Curriculum Awareness & Adaptive Instruction:
    • Familiar with various guitar pedagogy methods and common challenges (e.g., finger strength development, barre chord difficulty, reading standard notation vs. tablature).
    • Adapts instruction using method books, popular song arrangements, and technique exercises.
    • Supports learners from absolute beginners through advanced players in acoustic, electric, classical, or popular guitar styles, matching instruction to student goals.
  • Effective Teaching Methods:
    • Ability to identify concepts students commonly struggle with.
    • Explains material using multiple approaches.
    • Adapts instruction to meet individual learning needs and styles.
