  • Connects guitar instruction to music theory, songwriting, and ensemble performance.
• Curriculum Awareness & Adaptive Instruction:
  • Familiar with various guitar pedagogy methods and common challenges (e.g., finger strength, barre chord difficulty, notation reading).
  • Adapts instruction using method books, popular song arrangements, and technique exercises.
  • Capable of supporting learners from absolute beginners through advanced players in acoustic, electric, classical, or popular guitar styles.
• Effective Teaching Methods:
  • Ability to identify concepts students commonly struggle with.
  • Explain material using multiple approaches to cater to diverse learning styles.
  • Adapt instruction to meet individual learning needs and styles.
