What You’ll Actually Do
• Deliver personalized online 1-on-1 and instant tutoring sessions for college math students.
• Explain advanced college-level math concepts including algebra, statistics, and mathematical modeling.
• Guide students through problem-solving and critical thinking, emphasizing conceptual understanding over memorization.
• Adapt teaching approaches, leveraging real-world contexts and technology, to support diverse adult learners.
• Utilize the AI-powered Tutor Copilot to enhance instructional delivery and reduce preparation time.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Advanced understanding and deep knowledge of college-level algebra, functions and graphs, trigonometric concepts, introductory statistics, finite mathematics, linear programming, and mathematical modeling, along with the ability to explain quantitative reasoning, set theory, logic, and probability.
• Experience: Demonstrated skill in breaking down complex mathematical problems such as function analysis, statistical inference, and mathematical modeling, and familiarity with college math curricula, including liberal arts math and quantitative reasoning courses.
