The Tone:
This is an internship at The #1 Bengals Podcast, located remotely. The #1 Bengals Podcast has been entertaining Bengals fans since 2013 with its unique blend of football analysis, comedy, and unforgettable characters, hosted by Dadio Makdook and Dr. Hodgie E. Smodgie. This role is crucial for identifying and developing the next on-air personality and Bengals analyst, offering a direct path to gain real-world experience in sports media and potentially grow into a permanent co-host position. The internship is designed to provide genuine, hands-on experience by putting the intern on the mic alongside established hosts.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Co-Host: Join weekly podcast sessions (approximately 45 minutes) to discuss current Bengals topics.
• Analyze: Provide your own football knowledge, opinions, and analysis on Bengals games, roster moves, free agency, and the draft.
• Engage: Bring your personality and sense of humor to contribute to the unique chemistry that has driven the show’s success for over a decade.
• Learn: Gain an inside look at how a long-running sports podcast is produced, promoted, and grown to maintain a dedicated audience.
• Communicate: Develop on-camera communication skills, live discussion techniques, and interviewing abilities by interacting with co-hosts and potential guests.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Deep knowledge of the Cincinnati Bengals and the NFL.
• Experience: Comfortable speaking on camera; no previous podcasting or content creation experience required.
• Skills: A great sense of humor, enjoyment of conversational banter, dependability, coachability, and eagerness to improve.
• Bonus: Previous podcasting or content creation experience is welcome.
