Office Manager | Ammortal
The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Ammortal, located in Mars Hill, North Carolina. Ammortal develops cutting-edge healing technology, called the Ammortal Chamber, that integrates multiple scientifically backed technologies for wellness clinics, spas, sports teams, and individuals. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth daily operations of Ammortal’s Mars Hill facility, which is the central hub for manufacturing and shipping products during a period of rapid company growth. By owning the office’s day-to-day functions, this position enables manufacturing, supply chain, and operations teams to focus on building and shipping chambers efficiently.

• Mission: Ensures the Mars Hill facility is organized, well-supplied, and running smoothly so production and operations can thrive.
• Tech Stack: Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, Google Sheets), basic spreadsheet skills, Slack or similar, Notion (preferred), basic AI literacy (preferred)
What You’ll Actually Do
• Office Operations: Own the daily operation of the Mars Hill office, ensuring the workspace is clean, organized, safe, and fully functional.
• Inventory Management: Manage the procurement of office supplies, breakroom essentials, cleaning products, and general facility consumables.
• Vendor Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact for facility-related vendors, managing contracts, schedules, and service quality.
• Team Logistics: Be the go-to resource for the Mars Hill team, supporting new hire onboarding and coordinating team events.
• Administrative Support: Handle incoming and outgoing office mail and packages, and provide general administrative support to operations and leadership.
The Must-Haves
• Background: 2+ years of experience in office management, facilities coordination, or administrative operations.
• Experience: Proven track record of managing vendor relationships, service contracts, and multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Skills: Proficiency with Google Workspace, basic spreadsheet skills for tracking, clear communication, proactive problem-solving, and strong organizational rigor.
• Bonus: Basic AI literacy, experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment, familiarity with workplace safety standards (OSHA basics), experience supporting new hire logistics, experience working at a startup or high-growth company, or familiarity with the Asheville / Western North Carolina area.
