CRM Product Owner (North America) | Neuberger Berman
The Tone:
This is a full-time individual contributor role at Neuberger Berman, located in New York City. Neuberger Berman is a global investment firm focused on delivering consistent investment returns for clients. This role is crucial for enhancing the firm’s client coverage and distribution capabilities by leading the strategic evolution of its CRM platform, primarily Salesforce, to drive sales effectiveness and improve client engagement. You will translate business priorities into scalable capabilities that improve sales effectiveness, client engagement, workflow efficiency, data quality, and user adoption through cross-functional influence and subject-matter expertise.

• Mission: Translate business priorities into scalable CRM capabilities to enhance sales effectiveness, client engagement, and operational efficiency for North America distribution teams.
• Tech Stack: Salesforce, sales enablement platforms, analytics platforms, data platforms, AI-enabled capabilities.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Product Ownership: Serve as the lead business product owner for CRM capabilities supporting North America Institutional and Intermediary businesses, owning roadmap prioritization and translating objectives into delivery plans.
• Collaboration: Partner with business, technology, operations, and data teams across solution design, testing, rollout, and optimization, while promoting data quality and governance.
• Transformation: Identify opportunities to improve client coverage, sales workflows, and commercial effectiveness through CRM, analytics, process improvement, and practical AI-enabled capabilities.
• Communication: Build trusted relationships with stakeholders, align distribution teams with CRM delivery teams, and effectively communicate priorities, progress, outcomes, risks, and recommendations to leadership and users.
• Adoption & Value: Lead rollout, change management, training, and adoption for new CRM capabilities and enhancements, monitoring impact to improve realized value.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Minimum of 8+ years of relevant experience, preferably in asset management, wealth management, or related financial services organizations, with a strong understanding of asset management distribution.
• Experience: Demonstrated success in Product Ownership, Product Management, CRM, Sales Enablement, Business Analysis, or another business-facing distribution role, translating business needs into delivered technology capabilities and measurable outcomes.
• Skills: Strong stakeholder leadership, communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to bring structure to ambiguity and drive decisions; experience leading process improvement, user adoption, or organizational change initiatives.
• Bonus: Salesforce experience, including familiarity with configuration, reporting, automation, and governance; experience with CRM, client coverage, sales enablement, analytics, data governance, or commercial effectiveness platforms; experience evaluating, piloting, implementing, or driving adoption of AI-enabled business solutions; relevant Salesforce, Product Owner, Product Management, CFA, CIMA, or related certifications.
