Job Description
NOC Operator – Sinclair Digital Networks
Sinclair Digital Networks is actively seeking a detail-oriented, tech-savvy NOC Operator to join their Network Operations Center (NOC) team. The ideal candidate will possess a rapid learning capability for specialized software, exhibit strong computer and multitasking skills, and thrive in the demanding, fast-paced environment characteristic of broadcast operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and control broadcast streams for national content delivery, encompassing both programs and commercials.
- Manage digital media, which includes tasks such as file preparation, media prep, and report generation.
- Operate within an automated, cloud-based broadcast system.
- Troubleshoot and escalate operational issues promptly when necessary.
- Perform additional support tasks and duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a Master Control Operator is preferred but not required.
- Demonstrated strong attention to detail and the ability to meticulously follow technical processes.
- Proficiency in computers, software systems, and electronic equipment.
- Flexible availability for shifts including overnights, weekends, and holidays is essential.
