Job Description:
This internship focuses on developing cutting-edge Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Machine Learning (ML) algorithms for TikTok’s global e-commerce platform. The intern will contribute to the algorithms powering Intelligent Customer Service. Specific responsibilities include:
• Applying LLMs (Large Language Models): Utilizing LLMs in various multilingual and multimodal e-commerce scenarios.
• Generative AI Chatbot Development: Building a generative AI-powered chatbot capable of handling post-sale issues and pre-sale consultations.
• Text Generation: Creating algorithms for tasks such as generating product titles and descriptions, summarizing dialogues, and automating email and ticket replies.
• Machine Translation: Optimizing translation quality across numerous languages and scenarios within the e-commerce platform, and researching related cutting-edge technologies.
The internship offers hands-on experience, enabling students to apply their knowledge in real-world scenarios and develop fundamental skills. A structured program includes social events and development workshops to support personal and professional growth. The internship is 12 weeks long, starting either in May/June 2025 or August/September 2025.
