Intern, Software Engineering | Moog

This is an internship at Moog, located in Arvada, CO. • Pay: $28.79–$34.29 hourly
• Team: Software Engineering team within the Space & Defense Group, reporting to Software Engineering Management
• Mission: Contribute to the preparation and execution of key engineering tasks, potentially involving programming flight software or implementing artificial intelligence tools.
• Tech Stack: Programming and coding flight software, artificial intelligence tools

What You’ll Actually Do
• Engineering Tasks: Contribute to the preparation and execution of key engineering tasks at Moog.
• Technical Support: Provide technical support to engineers as needed.
• Software Development: Engage in work that may include programming and coding flight software for space vehicles, running tests, or performing data analysis.
• Project Input: Provide input on project processes, strategies, and execution.
• Team Collaboration: Operate as a multidisciplinary member of a team of creative, independent individuals.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree program in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or another relevant engineering field.
• Experience: A GPA of at least 3.0 is required, with the exact GPA specification coming from the department.
• Skills: Ability to relocate for the duration of the internship, possession of a professional disposition, effective communication skills, a strong desire to learn, a positive attitude, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
