Night Auditor | Driftwood Hospitality Management

This position is crucial for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth operational transition of hotel systems each night. What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Auditing: Prepare daily Restaurant Revenue Reports by auditing Micros tapes/journals to break down revenue, covers, server’s tips, and settlements.
• Account Balancing: Post, balance, and process all charges and settlements in a timely manner, making necessary corrections and adjustments.
• System Management: Input revenue/expenses/allowances, run audit reports, maintain files, and reset the systems for next-day operations.
• Guest Services: Act as a front desk agent by greeting guests, managing registrations, processing payments, and handling telephone inquiries.
• Reporting & Compliance: Ensure all reports, backup vouchers, and necessary copies are complete, filed properly, and distributed to the appropriate departments.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Knowledge of accounting operations to include all aspects such as accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Experience: Ability to operate a 10-key by touch and experience accessing and inputting information using a moderately complex computer system.
• Skills: Basic mathematical skills, effective communication in English (reading, writing, speaking, and excellent telephone etiquette), ability to effectively deal with guest and employee concerns in a friendly and positive manner, and hearing and visual ability to observe and detect signs of emergency situations.
