The Opportunity: New Nurse Graduate
We are seeking motivated, compassionate individuals to provide top-notch patient care. This role is perfect for Recent Graduates or Upcoming Nurse Grads! NO DIALYSIS EXPERIENCE NEEDED!!! WE WILL TRAIN!!!!
The New Nurse Graduate provides specialized nursing care at one of DCI’s in-center hemodialysis or hospital services units as part of a patient care team. Our Registered Nurses are integral in ensuring safe care and the highest quality outcomes are prioritized for every patient. Responsibilities – What You Can Expect:
- Monitor patients during dialysis, assessing and communicating changes with physicians and families.
- Prepare dialysis machine and treatment supplies, ensuring quality standards are met.
- Perform hemodialysis treatments per facility policies and procedures.
- Provide ongoing patient education, training, and health coaching, including relevant documentation.
- Administer and chart all prescribed medications under the supervision of a registered nurse.
- Participate in patient care conferences, rounds, and chart reviews.
- Facilitate continuity of care with local hospitals.
- Assist in medication inventory maintenance.
- Contribute to training new staff members as directed.
- Perform additional tasks as requested.
