The Role: New Nurse Graduate
The New Nurse Graduate provides specialized nursing care at one of DCI’s in-center hemodialysis or hospital services units, operating as an integral part of a patient care team. Our Registered Nurses (RNs) are crucial in ensuring safe care and prioritizing the highest quality outcomes for every patient.
Schedule
- Potential full-time shifts vary from four 10-hour shifts or three 12-hour shifts.
- In-Center RNs enjoy Sundays off; no overnight shifts.
- Rotating call may be required in our hospital services programs after orientation completion.
Compensation
Pay range is dependent on nursing and dialysis experience.

Responsibilities – What You Can Expect
- DCI provides a 3-month comprehensive education program, including classroom group sessions, job shadowing, and one-on-one skills training.
- Monitor patients during dialysis, assessing and communicating changes with physicians and families.
- Prepare dialysis machine and treatment supplies and ensure quality standards are met.
- Perform hemodialysis treatments per facility policies and procedures.
- Ongoing patient education, training, and health coaching, including relevant documentation.
- Administer and chart all prescribed medications under the supervision of a registered nurse.
- Participate in patient care conferences, rounds, and chart reviews.
- Facilitate continuity of care with local hospitals.
- Assist in medication inventory maintenance.
- Contribute to training new staff members as directed.
- Additional tasks as requested.
Qualifications – Successful Candidates Bring

Education/Training
- Accredited nursing degree required.
- Dialysis experience is not required; job shadow opportunities are available.
