New Graduate Nurse Practitioner (NP) | Las Vegas Pain Institute and Medical Center

The Tone:
This is a full-time, on-site role at Las Vegas Pain Institute and Medical Center, located in Las Vegas, NV. The company is Nevada’s largest multi-site pain practice, founded in 1999 and dedicated to providing comprehensive, one-stop pain care services across multiple locations. This role is crucial for a new graduate NP to begin their career in a comprehensive medical setting, contributing to exceptional patient care as an integral part of a multidisciplinary team.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Assess: Perform thorough patient evaluations and assessments to understand their conditions.
• Plan: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to meet specific patient needs.
• Manage: Oversee chronic pain conditions utilizing evidence-based practices and protocols.
• Collaborate: Work effectively with physicians, physical therapists, and other medical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate: Provide comprehensive patient education regarding their conditions and available treatment options.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program. Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Nevada. Certification from an accredited NP board (ANCC or AANP) is mandatory.
• Experience: Proficiency in medical record documentation and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems. New graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.
• Skills: Advanced clinical skills in patient assessments, diagnosis, and treatment management. Strong interpersonal and communication skills for patient education and team collaboration. Demonstrated ability to stay organized, prioritize workload, and manage high patient volumes. CPR or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is required.
• Bonus: Experience in pain management or primary care is advantageous.
