About the Internship:
This is a Network Performance internship for students enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Electrical Engineering, Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Data Science, or related majors. The internship is 10 weeks long, from June 2, 2025 to August 8, 2025, and is a full-time hybrid position. This means you’ll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.

Compensation: The compensation range for this position is between $23/hour – $31/hour, depending on your role and class year.

Job Description:
This internship will provide you with opportunities to work on projects that enhance your skills in areas such as:
• 5G Technology
• Network Performance Optimization and Management
• Radio Frequency Design
• NFV (Network Functions Virtualization)
• Software Defined Networking (SDN)
• Business Analytics
• Programming: Java, Python, Wireshark, Splunk
• Data Warehousing: SQL & database query tools
• Grafana (Prometheus) & GitHub Network
Key Responsibilities:
• You will be quickly immersed in meaningful work and projects that deliver tangible business impact.

Requirements:
• Ability to participate in the 10-week internship from June 2, 2025 to August 8, 2025, working a full-time schedule.
• Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program with a completion date between December 2026 and June 2028.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship.
• Coursework or demonstrated experience in waveforms and radio frequency spectrum.
• Willingness to travel and work in an assigned Verizon office.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Demonstrated strong written and communication skills.
• Experience in Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite.
• Knowledge of filters and signal modulation.
• Knowledge of WIFI, wireless, or modern communication networks.
• Understanding of radio signal propagation (Industry Ex: Planet EV, Atoll).
• Knowledge of electromagnetics and optics.
