What You’ll Actually Do
• Monitor: Monitor and maintain the network infrastructure to ensure its continuous and reliable operation.
• Configure: Assist in the configuration of essential network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless networks.
• Troubleshoot: Diagnose and resolve network and connectivity issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
• Optimize: Support initiatives focused on enhancing network security and optimizing overall performance.
• Collaborate: Work closely with IT teams to ensure the smooth and effective operation of business systems.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a closely related academic field. Candidates should possess a basic understanding of fundamental networking concepts, including TCP/IP, LAN/WAN principles, routing, and switching.
• Experience: This is an entry-level position suitable for new college graduates from 2025 or 2026. Prior knowledge of Cisco technologies is considered beneficial.
• Skills: Strong analytical abilities for problem-solving, effective troubleshooting capabilities, and clear communication skills are essential for this role.
• Bonus: Holding a CCNA certification, or actively pursuing one, is a definite advantage.
