Allied Multicultural, a division of Allied Global Marketing, focuses on the Multicultural market through publicity, events, grassroots/experiential marketing, and online/social media.
Job Description:
This is a Spring 2025 internship with Allied Multicultural, a division of Allied Global Marketing. The intern will develop project management skills, support marketing/influencer campaigns, and work with entertainment clients and brands. While the internship is remote, priority is given to candidates in Los Angeles, CA and Miami, FL for hands-on experience with events.
Internship Duties:
• Assist marketing and digital/influencer team.
• Compile research for marketing ideas, mainly focusing on AA (African American) efforts.
• Research cultural events, vendors, social media influencers, and WOM (Word of Mouth) groups pertaining to clients’ needs.
• Recap events and mailers.
• Cover events, red carpets, activations, screenings, etc.
• Organize/manage important documents.
• Maintain/update working client docs and vendor lists.
• Provide administrative support such as expenses, reports, and data entry.
Requirements:
• Outgoing personality, fun attitude, and great work ethic.
• Passionate about entertainment and film.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be an undergraduate/grad student (Must receive academic credit).
• Reside in Los Angeles, CA or Miami, FL (required).
• Must be at least 18 years of age upon internship start date.
Details:
• Hours per week: 15-25 hours/week
• Duration: 3-6 months
• Rate of pay: Unpaid/Academic Credit
• Work location: Remote (LA or Miami preferred for event assistance)
• Occasional nights and weekends for event coverage as needed.
