RDG, a rapidly growing luxury hospitality group, is seeking a highly skilled Motion Designer to lead dynamic, high-impact promotional content across its distinguished portfolio of brands. This pivotal role is primarily focused on creating engaging visuals for DJ marketing, sophisticated nightlife campaigns, and immersive experiential brand storytelling.

The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of visual systems, rhythm, and scalability, and is adept at translating motion across various digital platforms and in-venue environments. You will play a crucial role in maintaining brand integrity while pushing creative boundaries, contributing to RDG’s mission of providing customers with immersive experiences and refined journeys.

About RDG and Our Vision

RDG introduced its first restaurant-concept brand, MILA, in January 2020 in Miami Beach. MILA quickly became a premier destination, renowned for its exquisite MediterrAsian cuisine, genuine hospitality, fine dining, and sophisticated nightlife atmosphere. Its remarkable success, even amidst pandemic challenges, led to its #5 spot in The Restaurant Business Top 100 ranking.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design high-impact motion graphics for DJ marketing campaigns and promotional initiatives across all RDG brands.
  • Develop scalable visual systems that can be implemented consistently across multiple venues and platforms.
  • Create dynamic, rhythm-driven edits meticulously synced to music and the energy of events.
  • Build reusable motion templates to efficiently support recurring campaigns and lineup updates.
  • Adapt creative content across various social media platforms and in-venue screens, ensuring optimal display and engagement.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to structured approval timelines and strict deadlines.
  • Collaborate closely with the Creative and Social Media Teams, reporting directly to the Senior Creative Lead.
  • Maintain strong brand integrity while continuously pushing creative boundaries and exploring innovative visual solutions.
  • Stay current with the latest motion trends, nightlife aesthetics, and evolving digital formats and technologies.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree or diploma in Design, Motion Graphics, or a closely related field.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, with After Effects being a mandatory skill. Strong command of Illustrator, Photoshop, and Premiere is also essential.
  • Experience with 3D tools such as Cinema 4D or similar platforms is preferred.
  • Strong portfolio required, showcasing motion systems, sophisticated typography in motion, and campaign-level thinking. Please include a PDF or website portfolio with your application.
  • Highly organized with disciplined file management practices and a structured workflow.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, adept at managing pressure and producing high-quality work efficiently.
  • Must speak fluent English.
