The Tone:
This is a full-time, on-site role at Accurate Staging, located in Nashville, TN. Accurate Staging leads in manufacturing and developing staging products and custom sets for diverse clients across the United States. This role is pivotal in coordinating and overseeing all project lifecycles, from initial concept to final delivery. The Junior Drafter/Designer and Project Manager ensures meticulous management of timelines, budgets, and deliverables, directly impacting the success of high-quality, tailor-made solutions.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Design: Collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to conceptualize, create, and execute innovative designs for staging products and custom sets.
• Technical Drawing: Produce and manage precise technical drawings, ensuring they meet manufacturing specifications and quality standards.
• Project Oversight: Coordinate project activities, monitor progress, and ensure projects adhere to both creative vision and technical requirements.
• Communication: Maintain clear, consistent, and effective communication with all stakeholders, including clients, internal teams, and a diverse group of employees, to provide updates and manage expectations.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure all project deliverables meet Accurate Staging’s high standards for quality, precision, and aesthetic appeal.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Early Career. Strong foundational skills in project management, encompassing planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and budget oversight.
• Experience: Demonstrated proficiency in Vectorworks or other CAD software, with a willingness and eagerness to learn and master Vectorworks if not already proficient. Proven experience collaborating effectively with interdisciplinary teams, maintaining positive client relationships, and applying technical drawing knowledge for manufacturing processes.
• Skills: Proficient in CAD software with expertise in technical drawing creation and interpretation. Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to efficiently manage multiple projects concurrently without compromising quality or deadlines. Outstanding communication, organizational, and time-management skills, including the ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team of employees, along with exceptional attention to detail. A strong understanding of both structural integrity and aesthetic design principles is required.
• Bonus: A Bachelor’s degree in Theater Design, Industrial Design, Mechanical Design, or a related field. Experience in event production or stage design, demonstrating direct relevance to our specialized industry.
