The Tone:
This is a full-time SkillBridge Internship at Chamberlain Advisors, which is a program designed to transition active-duty military veterans into finance careers. The company builds a pathway for veterans by providing industry-leading financial modeling certification and then placing them in screened finance roles with qualified firms. This role is crucial for preparing military leaders for successful transitions into the financial industry, by leveraging their unique leadership, problem-solving, and analytical capabilities in M&A advisory.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Modeling Certification: Complete an industry-leading virtual program to master financial statement modeling, industry-standard cell formatting, and Excel operating speed.
• Acquisition Target Sourcing: Conduct qualitative industry and company research to build prioritized acquisition target lists and initiate outreach to engage potential targets for M&A discussions.
• Due Diligence & Insights: Perform limited due diligence, including market research and initial risk assessment, to provide strategic insights and recommendations to clients based on financial data.
• Project Management & Reporting: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely project execution and prepare detailed reports and executive briefings for internal and client use.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Active-duty military veterans with honorable service and exemplary service evaluations, specifically those passionate about starting a career in finance and M&A Advisory.
• Experience: 3-5 years of active duty military leadership experience.
• Skills: Strong problem-solving, analytical, and leadership skills developed through military service, coupled with a desire for leadership opportunities in finance.
• Bonus: Willingness to virtually attend and pass a no-cost financial modeling certification program and test prior to military transition, with a preference for combat arms experience.
