This role is crucial for driving microfinance sales and collections, ensuring the financial well-being of Joint Liability Group (JLG) customers and fostering strong community relationships at the ground level.

• Mission: Drive sales and collection activities for Microfinance JLG customers while ensuring qualitative sourcing, compliance, and healthy customer relationships.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Customer Sourcing: Source new customers and form Joint Liability Group (JLG) groups by conducting village surveys, prospecting, and explaining product offerings.
• Process Management: Manage the end-to-end customer sourcing process, including data collection, entry, validation of documents on LOS, and adherence to defined SOPs.
• Disbursement Coordination: Facilitate timely loan disbursements by coordinating required approvals with the Branch Manager and Credit Operations Officer.
• Customer Engagement: Organize and lead regular centre meetings, ensuring full customer participation, resolving queries, and promoting top-ups or cross-sell products.
• Portfolio Management: Ensure timely collection of repayments from customers, guarantee 100% deposition of recovery funds, monitor loan end-use, and maintain healthy relationships across a portfolio of 450-500 customers.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Undergraduate degree with foundational knowledge in microfinance Joint Liability Group (JLG) business.
• Experience: 1-2 years of experience specifically within the Microfinance JLG sector.
• Skills: Sales, Collection, Customer Relationship Management, Financial Literacy Promotion, SOP Adherence.
