Sr Merchandising Manager, DTC Apparel and Accessories | New Balance
The Tone:
This is a full-time, hybrid role at New Balance, located in Boston, MA. New Balance empowers people through sport and craftsmanship, innovating fearlessly and challenging conventions since 1906. This role is crucial for creating and maintaining multi-season directed product assortments for US DTC Channels, ensuring delivery on key strategic Brand initiatives and performance KPIs for consumers across NB.com and brick-and-mortar stores.

• Mission: Create and maintain multi-season directed product assortments of New Balance Apparel and Accessories that serve US DTC Channels and consumers across NB.com, Inline/Outlet B&M, and deliver on key strategic Brand initiatives and performance KPIs.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Create and maintain multi-season directed product assortments for US DTC Channels (NB.com, Inline/Outlet B&M) to deliver on strategic brand initiatives and performance KPIs.
• Collaborate with Commercial Buying and Planning teams to validate line architecture, assortment shape, and share, ensuring directed assortment execution.
• Contribute to the planning and execution of Merchandising-related go-to-market deliverables and stage-gates in partnership with Regional Business Unit Merchants and Key Account Merchant partners.
• Establish directed assortments that provide the right product, at the right time, in the right place, and in the right quantities by channel.
• Advocate for DTC assortment needs through collaboration with Regional Business Unit and Key Account Merchant partners, ensuring a compelling head-to-toe consumer experience.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Senior-level professional with over ten years of experience in product management, merchandising, or buying.
• Experience: 10+ years of product management, merchandising, buying, or related experience.
• Skills: System savvy with VibeIQ Merchandising, proficient in Excel and PowerPoint, strong planning and organization skills, relevant branded industry knowledge, analytical and problem-solving abilities, and a strong cross-functional collaborator within a matrixed organization.
• Bonus: Apparel experience strongly preferred; Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
