This role is for a Medical Assistant at Providence Medical Group NW, primarily for on-call positions within various clinic settings.

Role Summary:
Medical Assistants are integral members of the patient care team, responsible for supporting the delivery of cost-effective, clinically competent, and reliable healthcare services in a patient-focused environment.

The position is On-call, with shifts typically occurring during the Day shift. The job is listed as Part time with Multiple shifts available.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must meet the following criteria:
Education/Training:
• Graduate of an accredited school that includes hands-on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants; OR
• Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program; OR
• Completion of two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces; OR
• Minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant that specifically includes the following clinical skills: obtaining vital signs, administering injections, and medication administration.
Certifications:
Upon hire: Washington Medical Assistant Certification.
Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS – American Heart Association.
Experience:
• 6 months of Healthcare experience.
• 6 months of Medical Assistant experience.

Pay Range:
The base pay range for this role is $23.15 – $35.42. Additional compensation may be available, including shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
