Position Overview
The PLL is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Media Asset Management Intern. This role is crucial in supporting the efficient organization, management, and distribution of a wide array of media assets throughout the 2026 season. Key responsibilities include precise file organization, adherence to naming conventions, and comprehensive metadata tagging for content related to both the PLL and WLL.
Qualifications
- Strong collaboration, organization, and time management skills.
- Familiarity with common codecs and various file types.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, specifically Adobe Premiere Pro & Encoder.
- Experience in organizing media assets is a significant plus.
- Experience in sports production; knowledge of lacrosse is a plus.
Role and Responsibilities
- Assist in the overall media management process, including organizing files, implementing naming conventions, and managing upload/distribution for diverse content such as game footage, branded content, PLL Network games, and photo assets.
- Accurately tag metadata for PLL and WLL game footage, branded shoots, original features, and game broadcasts.
- Edit and construct stringouts for broadcast, partner requirements, or internal departmental use.
- Generate and share all broadcast game links for PLL season sharing sheets, facilitating both internal and external distribution.
- Support the tracking of all tagging and footage selections from content creators and editors to ensure Asana workflows are current.
- Restore and track assets for content creators and editors, and distribute requested footage/photos from current or past years to other departments.
- Upload and monitor media appearances of PLL and WLL players to the media database for archival purposes.
- Oversee Data Ingest and Transfer (DIT) and the weekly collection of all media assets.
- Organize assets within Dropbox and facilitate sharing of links across internal departments.
Compensation
- $17.00 per hour
