About The Role

The role described is for a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Hut 8. This intern will play a crucial role in high-impact projects throughout their term, directly contributing to the advancement of real solutions for real challenges in the design, development, and production of Hut 8’s future generation products. The intern will report directly to the Senior Mechanical Engineer and will engage in collaborative efforts with other teams to design and support multi-disciplinary projects across their full lifecycle.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

• Assisting in product design primarily through the use of 3D modeling software and maintaining existing models.
• Applying engineering principles and fundamentals to provide innovative solutions for technically challenging problems, particularly within the internship’s focus area of Structural and Mechanical Design.
• Creating system design plans based on engineering concepts.
• Developing solutions for design problems and creating and reviewing part drawings.
