Job Description:

This is a Mechanical Engineering Co-op position for the Fall 2025 rotation at GE Appliances in Louisville, KY. The co-op offers hands-on experience on challenging projects, contributing to the company’s growth. You’ll work with experienced professionals and a mentor to define goals and expectations. Housing and relocation assistance is available.

Rotation Dates: August 18, 2025 – December 19, 2025
Location: Louisville, KY

How You’ll Create Possibilities:

• Work with a mentor to achieve established goals supporting the business and providing learning opportunities.
• Complete technical assignments in areas like New Product Introduction, Product Improvement, Modeling and Simulation, Advanced Development, Sourced Products, Software Development, or GEA’s Micro-Factory, FirstBuild.
• Attend development and training sessions.
• Participate in networking and community volunteer projects.
• Attend optional social events.

Required Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering).
• Expected graduation date of May 2026 or later.
• Cumulative GPA >=3.0 (out of 4.0).
• Legal authorization to work in the country/region where the business is hiring is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now, nor in the future, for this position.

Desired Qualifications:

• Ability to have two or more co-op rotations before graduation.
• Related coursework.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Solid analytical skills.
• Desire and ability to learn.
• Passion for engineering.
