Job Description: MBO Stage Scheikunde/Laborant – Meetmethode voor stabiliteit van pigmenten in inktvloeistoffen

Are you an MBO student seeking a challenging internship within a large research company?

Are you interested in exploring and improving a measurement method, directly contributing to the work of our researchers? If so, we are looking for you!

Your Task:

For our ink research, it is crucial to ensure the stability of our pigment dispersions. We have developed two measurement methods: one for particle size (DLS) and another for viscosity (rheometer).

We are looking for a student who enjoys actively contributing to the further development of these methods, seeking the most practical and efficient way to achieve precise measurements.

Within this internship, you will be guided by our R&D UVgel-ink group, gaining experience in conducting and improving chemical-physical measurements to deliver better ink. We expect you to identify and propose improvements, independently plan and execute a small accuracy study, and interpret the results under supervision. We will provide guidance to develop these skills. If successful, the results of your project will be incorporated into further ink engineering.

Your Profile:

You are currently an MBO student in the field of chemistry, laboratory technology, or chemical-physical analysis, at least in your second year.
You are eager to contribute to the improvement of an existing measurement technique.
You can function within a larger team and establish clear agreements on deadlines.
You are available for a period of at least 4 months, in consultation.

What you get in return:

A challenging assignment with expert guidance.
An internship/graduation allowance of €500,- per month.
Travel expense reimbursement if you do not have an OV-weekkaart (public transport pass).
The opportunity to network with professionals within and outside your field, thanks to the diversity of disciplines you will be working with.
With our company values of collaboration, innovation, and ownership, we strive to bring out the best in each other, push boundaries, and feel empowered to take ownership of our work.
