Job Description: MBA Product Management Summer Internship:

Okta offers a 12-week summer internship (Summer 2025) for MBA students in their San Francisco office. This internship will immerse participants in the Okta Workforce Identity Cloud product development process. Two positions are available, one each in the Access Management and Identity Management teams.

Access Management: Focuses on creating secure yet user-friendly access to resources.

Identity Management: Concentrates on developing solutions to improve user lifecycle management and governance, prioritizing least privilege access for enhanced security.

Responsibilities for both internship roles include:

• Understanding business needs from existing and prospective customers, and strategic initiatives.
• Collaborating with Engineering, Research & Design, and other internal teams to define user stories and use cases for product development.
• Monitoring industry trends and competitive analysis alongside internal data to inform product strategy.

The internship aims to provide a realistic view of product management at Okta. Interns will receive support from a manager and mentor, alongside fellow Product Managers. The program includes opportunities for networking with other interns, team members, and the broader company through events like the Executive Speaker Series and social gatherings. Interns can choose between in-person or virtual participation.

Minimum Requirements:

• Currently pursuing an MBA (May/June 2026 graduation).
• Ability to grasp and discuss complex technical concepts.
• Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (engineering/technical background preferred).
• Proven success in delivering critical projects in challenging environments.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, scaling business.
• Passion for developing new features and launching leading SaaS products.
• Intellectual curiosity, creativity, and an entrepreneurial mindset.
