Internship – Real Estate Brokerage | Matthews™

The Tone:
This is an unpaid training internship at Matthews™. Matthews™ is the fastest-growing commercial real estate company in the country. The program focuses on learning the commercial real estate sales process using the company’s innovations and technology platforms. Participants will gain experience in a collaborative setting alongside a Market Leader and Senior Sales Associate, aiming to develop core sales competencies for a career in commercial real estate.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Marketing Growth: Learn how to utilize marketing strategies to increase the customer base and profitable revenue.
• Sales Process Immersion: Observe and understand various sales and marketing activities, including direct selling, telemarketing, lead generation, and cold calling.
• Revenue Understanding: Acquire a basic understanding of revenue responsibilities, including reaching sales quotas.
• Strategic Account Development: Develop skills to identify, qualify, and execute strategies within target accounts and for new products or services.
• Client Relationship Building: Learn to identify and establish relationships within critical market segments and maintain contact with clients and prospects.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Student currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, or a related field.
• Experience: No specific years of prior professional experience are required for this training program.
• Skills: Excellent organizational and communication skills; strong work ethic, discipline, and resilience; a driven, competitive, and entrepreneurial mindset; adaptability and a coachable attitude.
