Tutors on the platform help thousands of students nationally achieve academic success and deepen their understanding of Math 3 concepts. This role allows you to make a real impact on students’ educational journeys from the comfort of your home.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Deliver: Provide personalized 1-on-1 online instruction to individual students seeking help with Math 3.
• Instruct: Explain advanced Math 3 concepts like polynomial long division, logarithmic equation solving, and trigonometric identity verification using multiple approaches.
• Guide: Lead students through mathematical modeling, statistical inference with confidence intervals, and geometric design problems, connecting functions to real-world applications.
• Adapt: Adjust teaching methods and curriculum awareness to address common student challenges and diverse learning styles, preparing them for precalculus, AP, SAT, or college-level coursework.
• Manage: Invoice for your tutoring sessions, set your own flexible hours, and tutor remotely using the purpose-built Live Learning Platform.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Demonstrated advanced subject mastery in Math 3, including deep knowledge of polynomial and rational functions, logarithmic and exponential modeling, trigonometric functions and identities, statistics, and geometric modeling.
• Experience: Proven ability to prepare students for precalculus, AP courses, SAT, and college mathematics placement, adapting instruction with technology and data analysis projects.
• Skills:
* Adept at breaking down complex mathematical concepts and guiding students through problem-solving.
* Familiarity with Integrated Math 3 curricula, Common Core standards, and common student struggles.
* Strong communication skills and an engaging teaching style that can adapt to individual learning needs and styles.
