Junior Graphic Designer/Marketing Coordinator | Robert Half

This is an entry-level, long-term contract position at Robert Half, located in Alameda, California. This role is crucial for supporting a variety of marketing, sales, and event initiatives, ensuring a positive brand experience, and smooth day-to-day operations for the Experience Center.

• Mission: This person solves the problem of coordinating marketing, sales, and event initiatives to enhance the brand experience and drive traffic to the Experience Center, while also providing essential operational support.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Drive Traffic & Materials: Develop and implement ideas and strategies to help drive traffic to the Experience Center, and maintain and update showroom marketing and sales support materials.
• Event Coordination & Hosting: Coordinate onsite and offsite events, trainings, and customer engagement activities, serving as a host for visitors to ensure an exceptional brand experience during trainings, meetings, and social events. This includes maintaining accurate visitor logs and executing post-visit email follow-ups.
• Operational Support: Provide administrative and operational support to the sales, marketing, and operations teams, tracking and managing expenses, scheduling appointments, organizing documentation, and maintaining the appearance and functionality of the facility.
• Brand Ambassador & Customer Service: Act as a brand ambassador by developing a strong understanding of company products and solutions, answering incoming calls, and assisting walk-in customers and local dealer representatives with product inquiries and solutions.
• Marketing Initiatives: Support additional marketing initiatives and special projects as assigned by the team.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. This is an entry-level professional opportunity.
• Experience: Experience with Mailchimp is required. Demonstrated experience interacting with consumers researching products and solutions.
• Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Strong customer service and communication skills. Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and follow-through. Ability to quickly learn product information and technical concepts, take ownership of assigned tasks, and work independently. Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams across multiple departments, with excellent phone etiquette.
