Intern, Marketing – Makeup & Treatment | Groupe Clarins
The Tone:
This is an internship at Groupe Clarins, located in New York City, New York. Its core purpose is “making life more beautiful, passing on a more beautiful planet.” This role is crucial for supporting the Marketing team by providing essential analysis of competitive activity and assisting in the organization and tracking of new product launches.
The TL;DR

• Mission: Provide support for the Marketing team by analyzing, reviewing, and reporting on competitive activity and organizing new product launches, line extensions, and reformulations.
• Tech Stack: Excel, PowerPoint
What You’ll Actually Do
• Competitive Analysis: Analyze and present competitive market activity, including products, claims, messaging, campaigns, reviews, and pricing, for monthly meetings and global teams.
• Market Data Analysis: Evaluate the US market using Circana data quarterly, identifying drivers and restrainers, and preparing detailed business review reports on market and brand performances.
• Brand Marketing Support: Assist the team with all marketing efforts by tracking creative routes, monitoring product closets, coordinating product shipments, and issuing creative requests and project briefs.
• Meeting Preparation: Prepare for meetings by creating PowerPoint presentations and ensuring conference room setup, while actively participating in team discussions.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Digital Communications, or related fields.
• Experience: Prior experience in the beauty, fashion, or luxury industry, preferably in marketing roles.
• Skills: Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; strong communication and organizational skills; detail-oriented with project management abilities.
• Bonus: Strong technical acumen for troubleshooting and problem solving.
