High School Marketing Intern (Grades 9–12) | BallBack
The Tone:
This is an internship at BallBack, located remotely. BallBack partners with tennis facilities to recycle used tennis balls, preventing them from ending up in landfills for centuries. They have successfully recycled over 50,000 balls across 36 partner facilities, and their student chapter leader network has recently expanded to over 57 individuals nationwide. This role is crucial for telling BallBack’s impactful story, turning raw footage from chapter leaders into engaging content that significantly contributes to the organization’s public presence and growth.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Content Creation: Turn raw footage from chapter leaders and partner facilities into engaging short-form video content suitable for platforms like Instagram Reels and TikTok.
• Template Management: Build and maintain consistent content templates in Canva, including standardized introduction posts for new chapter leaders.
• Trend Analysis: Research and analyze content strategies employed by similar organizations on Instagram and TikTok, bringing back actionable ideas to enhance BallBack’s content.
• Content Planning: Collaborate with the team to plan and script upcoming content initiatives, documenting ideas and details in a shared content document.
• Strategy Contribution: Monitor the performance of various content pieces and provide insights to help shape and refine BallBack’s overall marketing strategy.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. A high school student (Grades 9–12) interested in marketing and social media.
• Experience: Experience creating and editing content, particularly short-form video, for social media platforms such as Instagram and TikTok.
• Skills: Proficiency in video editing for social media, strong content creation abilities, familiarity with Canva for graphic design, and an understanding of social media trends and platforms.
• Bonus: Opportunity to become a marketing lead if you possess relevant prior experience.
