Forward Madison FC is searching for an intern to help with the development, planning and execution of all marketing initiatives for the 2025 season.

Job Description:

Forward Madison FC is seeking a Marketing Intern to assist in the development, planning, and execution of all marketing initiatives for the 2025 season. The intern will report to the Director of Marketing & Strategic Communication. The internship duration is targeted from March 2025 through October 2025.

Responsibilities:

• Help develop, plan, coordinate and execute FMFC Theme Night Promotions.
• Create multi-media marketing plans for Forward Madison FC Theme Nights.
• Lead social media campaigns to increase awareness of Theme Nights and bolster ticket sales.
• Keep a pulse on social media trends to implement on FMFC socials.
• Assist in content creation i.e. videos, reels, tik toks, graphics, etc.
• Assist in sourcing, receiving, and implementing Theme Night Giveaways and Merch Pack Items.
Coordinate special guest appearances for theme nights.
• Assist with coordinating and executing FMFC Street Team appearances
• Develop and execute pre-game, in-game and halftime activations.
Attend community events and act as player liaisons for player appearances.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• Marketing interns are expected to work every home match, playoff match, as well as occasional special events held at Breese Stevens Field, as assigned by their manager.
• Stadium work is part of the gig-this could include tasks such as painting, hanging signs, cleaning grandstands, picking up garbage, bagging ice, raking, sweeping and many other outdoor tasks.
• All Interns will be required to participate in weekly sports management workshops.
• Accept and abide by all terms of the Intern Code of Conduct.
• Accept and abide by all terms of the Forward Madison FC Intern Handbook and Intern Confidentiality agreement (provided during onboarding).

Compensation:

All Interns Will Receive a Compensation Stipend.
