Job Description: Marketing Intern

This 10-hour/week, 10-12 week paid internship ($16.50/hour) in NYC offers hands-on experience in various aspects of marketing, branding, and digital communications within the fashion industry. The intern will work directly with the Marketing and Partnerships Manager and contribute to real-time projects. The role is ideal for college students (junior or senior year) or recent graduates interested in fashion marketing.

Responsibilities:

The Marketing Intern will be involved in a wide range of tasks, including:

Brand & Content Support: Assisting with creative marketing projects to enhance the client experience and brand voice; producing engaging content for social media (Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok); conducting trend and competitive research; supporting content shoots and behind-the-scenes storytelling; distributing marketing materials to different studios.

Digital & Strategic Marketing: Identifying and proposing potential industry partnerships or influencer collaborations; updating and maintaining website content; creating marketing and sales materials (digital and print).

General Team Support: Developing presentations for internal marketing strategy discussions; managing day-to-day administrative tasks; managing customer feedback and reviews; contributing to strategies for improving customer loyalty.

Required Attributes & Skills:

• Passion for fashion, design, and storytelling through content.
• Creativity, self-motivation, and a willingness to contribute to execution.
• Organization and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with digital trends and social media.
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork abilities.
• Proficiency in Canva, Instagram, Google Suite, and presentation software (PowerPoint or Keynote).
• College student (Junior or Senior year) or recent graduate with a degree in Marketing, Branding, Graphic Design, or Business.
• Ability to commit 10 hours per week for 10-12 weeks.
• Willingness to work from the NYC HQ and travel to various tailoring studios.

Preferred Attributes:

Prior experience in fashion, retail, or the creative industry is a plus but not required.
