Job Description: Marketing Intern
This is a paid, part-time internship (25-40 hours/week) running from June 16, 2025, to September 5, 2025. The internship offers real-world experience in the live entertainment industry.
Responsibilities:
• Assisting the marketing department with daily administrative tasks and day-of-show event coverage.
• Coordinating local press requests for Live Nation-promoted shows.
• Supporting ongoing marketing campaigns and team projects.
• Managing and organizing local partners, press/media, influencers, and organizations for promotional partnerships.
• Contributing to the development of internal resources for streamlined communication and marketing strategies.
• Collaborating with the fan-experience marketing team on content creation and fan engagement.
• Assisting in planning and executing on-site activations at local events and concerts.
• Compiling, analyzing, and tracking data related to partnership promotions.
• Developing and implementing innovative virtual and physical street team activations.
• Completing a final internship project (assigned at the start, presented at the end).
Learning Objectives:
• Understanding the full concert marketing process across various music genres and venue sizes.
• Developing knowledge of concert promotional concepts (digital advertising, partnership/influencer marketing, traditional marketing, press/media communication, creative idea curation).
• Gaining experience with concert content creation and fan experience communication.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Recent graduate or currently enrolled in an accredited college/university (preferably in a relevant field).
• Previous experience (school, internship, or professional) is preferred.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong judgment, tact, and diplomacy.
• Teamwork abilities and program execution skills.
• Physical ability to constantly walk, climb stairs, lift/carry 50+ lbs., and occasionally sit.
