Job Description: Marketing Intern
ICS is seeking a creative and motivated Marketing Intern to support their marketing team. This role offers hands-on experience in designing, creating, and delivering various marketing materials. The intern will collaborate with the internal marketing team and business/project development teams.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Creatively develop and execute marketing materials, including social media graphics, content for proposals and presentations, brochures and flyers, advertisements, internal communications materials, website updates, internal communications, photography, event and conference materials, and brand assets.
• Develop materials supporting referendum communication campaigns for K-12 school districts (logos, website graphics, printed deliverables, social media, etc.).
• Participate in team meetings, contribute input, and receive feedback to refine designs.
• Utilize Adobe Creative Suite and maintain organized project files.
• Communicate professionally with marketing vendors and ICS employees.
• Perform other assigned duties and administrative tasks.
Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field (Junior or Senior status preferred).
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite is required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
• Eagerness to learn and grow professionally.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain high ethical standards.
Physical Requirements:
The position primarily involves sitting, talking, and hearing, with frequent visual requirements. Occasional standing, walking, climbing, reaching, kneeling, and lifting (over 20lbs) may be necessary.
