Job Description: Marketing Intern
This is a 40-hour per week, hybrid internship (2-3 days per week in the NYC office) running from June to August (exact dates to be determined). The intern will report to the Marketing Manager and support Locala’s North American marketing efforts.
Responsibilities:
• Event Support: Assist in maximizing Locala’s presence at industry conferences and help plan and execute company-hosted events in North America.
• Marketing Materials: Collaborate with US marketing and sales enablement teams to create copy for one-pagers, presentations, and seasonal marketing materials.
• Social Media: Partner with the global MarCom team to develop creative and copy for social media posts.
• Email Marketing: Utilize HubSpot to support email marketing campaigns, including creating seasonal promotions and monthly newsletters.
• Administrative Tasks: Provide daily administrative support to the US marketing team.
Qualifications:
• Currently enrolled as an Undergraduate or Graduate student at an accredited college or university.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Demonstrated interest in marketing and communications (e.g., past internships, blogging, online courses). Formal experience is not required.
• Eagerness to learn new marketing skills and techniques.
• Strong self-management skills, ability to prioritize multiple tasks, and meet deadlines with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and writing skills.
• Adaptable and comfortable in a startup environment, capable of problem-solving and resourceful in tackling global challenges.
• Experience with HubSpot, Salesforce, Canva, and Google Analytics is a plus.
• Availability to work 40 hours/week from June to August, with 2-3 days per week in the NYC office.
Compensation: $17 – $20 per hour (This is a pay range; final compensation will depend on skills and experience).
