The Tone:
This is an unpaid internship at IBFlash, located remotely. IBFlash builds an AI-native recruiting platform designed to help students enter investment banking, private equity, and high finance through various technical prep and recruiting tools. This role is crucial for scaling the next generation of finance recruiting infrastructure by contributing real startup ownership and hands-on growth experience. The company seeks ambitious, entrepreneurial students passionate about the high-finance ecosystem to drive its expansion.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Brand & Community Growth: Actively help grow the IBFlash brand and expand its online presence across targeted finance clubs, campus organizations, and professional communities such as LinkedIn, Reddit, Wall Street Oasis (WSO), and Discord.
• Content Development & Curation: Collaborate on various content, growth, and marketing initiatives, which may include creating and editing short-form video content around investment banking recruiting, productivity, finance culture, and student life for platforms like TikTok, Reels, Shorts, LinkedIn, and X.
• Social Media & Distribution Management: Contribute directly to social media management, community engagement, and broader content distribution efforts, optimizing posting workflows and utilizing social-first editing styles (captions, hooks, pacing, B-roll) to maximize retention.
• Strategic Brainstorming: Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate viral content ideas, identify potential partnerships, and formulate innovative growth strategies to enhance IBFlash’s reach and impact.
• Startup Team Integration: Work closely and directly with the IBFlash team, contributing hands-on to critical startup growth initiatives and assisting in the strategic effort to build the next generation of finance recruiting media and infrastructure.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Student aiming for a summer 2026 internship, demonstrating a strong interest in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, consulting, startups, social media, growth, or content creation.
• Experience: Possessing an understanding of finance recruiting culture and pathways into investment banking, private equity, and high finance.
• Skills: Strong communication and execution capabilities; an entrepreneurial and self-starter mentality; comfortable working effectively within a fast-moving startup environment.
• Bonus: Demonstrated familiarity with online finance recruiting communities (e.g., LinkedIn, Reddit, Wall Street Oasis, Discord) or prior experience in creating short-form content suitable for platforms like TikTok, Reels, Shorts, LinkedIn, and X.
