Finance Manager – Marketing | Molson Coors Beverage Company

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Molson Coors Beverage Company, located in Toronto, Ontario. Molson Coors is transforming the beverage industry with an incredible portfolio of beer, seltzers, spirits, and non-alcohol brands, driven by curious and tenacious individuals. This role is crucial in serving as an advisor to the Marketing Leadership Team, providing essential financial guidance and support, and influencing investment strategies and resource allocation for the Canadian Marketing organization.

• Team: Reports to Finance Director Marketing and 6 Pints, leads a team of 3 finance professionals.
• Mission: Ensures the delivery of accurate, timely, and insightful financial performance updates for the Canadian Marketing organization to drive business decisions, investment strategies, and resource allocation.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Team Leadership: Lead and develop a team of three finance professionals by fostering their growth through career discussions and consistent one-on-one conversations.
• Financial Accounting & Reporting: Manage the accounting and reporting processes for Marketing Expenses in Canada, delivering actionable financial information and performing period-end closing responsibilities.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Oversee the execution of the Marketing budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring strong forecast accuracy, identifying risks and opportunities, and influencing investment decisions.
• Partnership Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and analyze partnership reporting, including drivers of actual versus planned performance, and support discussions with external partners.
• Investment Business Case Development: Prepare or review financial inputs and assumptions for significant investments such as sponsorships and innovation, ensuring assumptions and outputs are thoroughly vetted.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, or equivalent experience in the field, advising leadership on financial matters.
• Experience: 7+ years of relevant experience, coupled with a proven history of strong customer influence.
• Skills: Manage multiple competing priorities effectively, complete complex projects quickly and adeptly by understanding business priorities, build strong relationships and collaborate to achieve desired outcomes, take accountability for results by acting with integrity and honoring commitments, and demonstrate a thirst for continuous learning and mutual growth.
