Role Description

The DEC Network is seeking a passionate and driven Marketing Coordinator to join our team in a full-time, on-site capacity in Dallas, TX. This pivotal role will collaborate closely with various internal teams to strategically develop, implement, and meticulously monitor marketing campaigns designed to engage our diverse community and promote our initiatives.

As a Marketing Coordinator, you will be instrumental in a wide range of marketing activities, contributing directly to the growth and visibility of our mission. Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to brainstorm, develop, and execute comprehensive marketing campaigns across various channels (digital, email, social, event-specific).
  • Creating compelling marketing materials, including digital graphics, flyers, brochures, presentations, and website content, ensuring brand consistency and appeal.
  • Managing and growing our social media presence across key platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X), including content scheduling, community engagement, and performance analysis.
  • Executing event marketing strategies from pre-event promotion to on-site branding and post-event follow-up for our workshops, conferences, and networking events.
  • Assisting with content creation efforts, which may include drafting blog posts, newsletter articles, success stories, and website updates to highlight our impact and programs.
  • Coordinating marketing support for various sales-related efforts, such as sponsorship outreach, membership drives, and program enrollment initiatives.
  • Managing multiple marketing projects simultaneously, meticulously tracking timelines, resources, and progress to ensure all deadlines are met successfully and efficiently.

Qualifications

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with a solid foundation in marketing principles and a proactive approach to project management. The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, essential for crafting engaging marketing content, effective correspondence, and clear internal/external communication.
  • Proven experience in sales and relationship management, demonstrating the ability to build and maintain positive connections with clients, partners, stakeholders, and community members.
  • Proficiency in event planning, encompassing the logistical coordination, promotional execution, and on-site management of various events.
  • Exceptional ability to manage multiple projects effectively, prioritize tasks, and maintain a high level of organization to consistently meet deadlines.
  • Experience with social media platforms and marketing tools (e.g., email marketing software like Mailchimp or HubSpot, graphic design tools like Canva, social media management platforms) is highly preferred.
  • A collaborative mindset with a strong ability to work harmoniously within a team environment and interact effectively with diverse groups, requiring on-site presence in Dallas, TX.
  • A genuine passion for entrepreneurship, innovation, and serving diverse communities, aligning with The DEC Network’s core mission and values, is a significant plus.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a closely related field is preferred.
