Marketing Intern | Alliance Marketing Partners
The Tone:
This is an internship at Alliance Marketing Partners, located in Charlotte, NC. Alliance Marketing Partners (AMP) is an experiential boutique full-service marketing firm. AMP specializes in amplifying clients’ local marketing platforms, particularly within the sports and entertainment sectors. The company operates offices in multiple cities, including Atlanta, D.C., Baltimore, Tampa, Charlotte, and Philadelphia, consistently seeking talented individuals to maintain its competitive edge. This role is crucial for delivering exceptional service to clients by directly supporting the Account team in a demanding environment.
The TL;DR
• Role: Internship
• Type: Full-time (Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM)
• Location: In-person, Charlotte, NC
• Pay: $60 daily, with potential for class credit and covered out-of-pocket expenses
• Team: Works directly with the Account team
• Mission: To deliver first-class service to clients and support local marketing platforms, especially in sports and entertainment
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
What You’ll Actually Do
• Event Management: Plan, manage, and execute various client events, ensuring smooth operations and successful outcomes for marketing initiatives.
• Marketing Activations: Support the implementation and execution of marketing activations across different client campaigns and platforms.
• Strategy & Planning: Contribute actively to the development and refinement of marketing strategies and plans for client accounts.
• Creative Development: Assist in the conceptualization and creation of marketing materials and other creative assets for campaigns.
• Operational Support: Fulfill essential operational tasks, including managing shipping logistics and running office errands to ensure efficient daily workflow.
The Must-Haves
• Background: This is an entry-level internship position designed for individuals eager to enter the sports, entertainment, or broader marketing industry. Candidates should possess a solid foundational understanding of social media concepts and applications.
• Experience: Proficiency is required in the Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, for various administrative and presentation tasks.
• Skills: Strong communication and writing abilities are essential, alongside a sharp attention to detail for precise execution. The ability to effectively manage projects and prioritize multiple tasks in a client-focused setting is critical. Additionally, candidates must have full-time access to a personal car for transportation related to office needs and events, and own a personal laptop to bring to the office for daily work.
