Market Intelligence Intern – Fall 2026 | hackajob

The Tone:
This is a temporary internship position at PrizePicks, located in Atlanta, GA. PrizePicks is recognized as the fastest-growing sports company in North America, operating as a leading platform for Daily Fantasy Sports across various leagues like the NFL, NBA, and Esports. This role is crucial for the Strategic Insights team to monitor the competitive landscape and identify emerging trends. The intern will gain hands-on experience in competitive research and market analysis, directly contributing to projects that inform marketing, product, and business strategy.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Data Management: Maintain and organize core databases containing competitive intelligence, industry reports, and market research materials.
• Trend Monitoring: Keep a pulse on competitors, industry developments, and online communities to identify emerging trends, track market shifts, and surface timely intelligence.
• Research Execution: Perform secondary research on industry trends, competitors, and market dynamics, summarizing findings into clear, concise briefs.
• Deliverable Support: Assist in producing recurring competitive reports, landscape summaries, and ad hoc briefings for business leaders.
• Analysis and Synthesis: Help with data gathering, source organization, and the preparation of deliverables such as competitive snapshots, analysis summaries, and slide decks.

The Must-Haves
• Background: A rising junior/senior, graduate student, or recent graduate in Market Research, Psychology, Business, Statistics, or Economics.
• Experience: Demonstrated builder mentality by starting a club, organization, side project, or business, regardless of its success; proven entrepreneurial drive by taking initiative in unstructured environments or finding creative solutions.
• Skills: Detail-oriented and reliable organizational skills for managing multiple tasks, strong writing and synthesis abilities to transform raw data into actionable insights, and comfort using productivity tools like PowerPoint/Excel/Google Slides/Sheets.
• Curiosity: A genuine interest in consumer behavior and the world of sports, gaming, or betting.
