Manufacturing Engineering Intern (Part-Time)
Mission Description

As a Manufacturing Engineering Intern, you will contribute to meaningful projects that shape the future of aerospace. This position is vital to our vision by:
- Defining and enhancing processes to ensure the production of cost-effective and quality products.
- Interfacing with product engineering, manufacturing leadership, and support teams to meet business unit goals.
- Supporting standardization initiatives across business units.
- Coordinating with the engineering team to implement company engineering strategies.
- Defining material sorting and grouping to match the process sequence and aid manufacturing.
- Documenting sorting to match the process sequence.
- Resolving problems related to the manufacturing process.
- Capitalizing projects using the “I see I do” process.
- Providing support to improve process layout to optimize product flow.
- Using video analysis to improve work methods and procedures.
- Handling day-to-day administrative tasks.
- Assisting the Process Engineers in the management of major projects.
- Adhering to safe work practices and contributing to the evolution of the health, safety, and environmental program and culture.
- Maintaining regular, predictable attendance.
- Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
We value service-oriented team players who demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to adapt to our dynamic, innovative environment. Ideal candidates will possess:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Decision Science.
- Minimum Junior year or with equivalent credits.
- Ability to work around 20-30 hours a week, Monday-Friday.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint (Basic).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Advanced), including the ability to manage large amounts of data and tasks.
- Blueprint and schematics reading (Basic).
- Problem Solving, root cause analysis, and corrective action (Basic).
- Ability to prioritize to meet customer requirements (Basic).
- Ability to communicate, verbally and written, to internal customers (Basic).
- Ability to build strategic working relationships at all levels of the organization (Basic).
- Possess a can-do attitude and sense of urgency when completing projects and tasks (Basic).
